A holistic approach to mental health care that combines traditional psychiatry such as comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy, with complementary and alternative therapies to address the root causes of mental health conditions. Deanna emphasizes treating the whole person—mind, body, and environment—by incorporating strategies like nutrition, exercise, sleep optimization, and biomedical interventions (e.g., addressing hormonal or vitamin/mineral imbalances) alongside traditional methods personalized for each individuals needs for optimal well-being.
